Across the country, EMS agencies are facing unprecedented challenges: rising call volumes, workforce shortages, increasing operational costs, and complex reimbursement systems. In many areas, ambulance services have closed or reduced coverage, leaving communities vulnerable. Nonprofit EMS organizations like Arrow EMS help fill that gap. We remain committed to supporting our emergency/911 services by transporting patients safely and supporting healthcare systems when conditions are difficult – this allows our community partners to focus on the life-threatening emergencies that arise in our cities and rural areas.
